Welcome to Brides and Grooms of Shaw web site - we hope that are able to give you some information about what we can do to help you enjoy the experience of choosing your bridal gown.

The salon has been established for 15 years and has recently been taken over by the present owner, Gill who has an experienced team of sales advisors who are all knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

We pride ourselves on offering an excellent service and brides to be coming into our shop are made to feel relaxed and special as they choose from a wide range of gowns from international bridal houses, including Dizzie Lizzie,Ronald Joyce, Mori Lee,Sincerity,Imogen,Linzi Jay and many more.

We have several large, air conditioned fitting rooms where you can try on the gowns of your choice and there is no need to make an appointment before you come (please allow yourself plenty of time though, so that we can give you a professional service).

We stock gowns to suit all tastes and styles of weddind, from informal,lavish,civeil ceremony, to the increasingly popular, wedding abroad - we can easily accommodate the brde with the fuller figure (up to size 30+).

There is is a fabulouse range of brides maid's dresses to choose from which offer the full choice of styles,colours and fabrics, from 2 years old.

In addition we stock a complimentary range of accessories including headdresses, tiaras, fascinators,veils and shoes etc.

To accommodate the groom and his party also, we hire gent's formal wear, from dinner / morning suits to velvet / brocade designer wear.

Once you have chosen your gown, we w site and therefore we can undertake all necassary alterations. (To keep our prices competative there is a reasonable charge fo this service, depending on the work required).

All dresses are sreamed and pressedbefore collection and we are happy to provide free storage until you are ready to collect your gown. You are able to take your gown home in a specially designed storage bag, with out compliments.

In addition to our extensive range of bridal attire we stock a fabulouse range of evening wear and exciting prom dresses.

We are open Mon- Sat 10.00 am -.5.00pm,
late night opening on a Wednesday until 8.00pm.

For your convenience there is free parking at the rear of the shop.
